Jingle Belles - March 9th

This week's theme over at Jingle Belles is to make a card inspired by the image below from Pottery Barn

... I'm not sure if my card qualifies as a neutral tone... but the pillow with the goldish tree on the top left was my inspiration for this card.  I tried three different ways of putting those beads on but sewing them three at a time was what I finally stuck with

  • Card size - 5.25" x 5.25"
  • Papers - Martha Stewart
  • Cuttlebug - embossing
  • Spellbinder - square and circle scalloped frame
  • Sentiment "NOEL" is a stamp and heat embossed
  • Each bead was sewn on 3 at a time
  • Cricut cartridges:
    • Christmas - angel (cut and heat embossed)
    • Home Decor - flourish

Inspired by sketch 1 from RAQ's 3-21 Card Sketch Challenge hosted by RAQ

  2. oh my, oh WOW! how much do i ♥LOVE♥ this??! (hint: it's a really LOT!!!) :) and for the record, i consider gold to be just a sparkly second-cousin to tan... and thus TOTALLY a neutral!!! (same deal for copper and silver... they're neutral... in a glittery fabulous way!!!) LOVE that gorgeous angel diecut, love the flourish, and of course the beading is ♥MAGNIFICENT♥!!! awesome job!

  3. It's gorgeous Raquel, and if Lauren says that gold is a kind of neutral, who are we to argue with that LOL?
