My Sheri Crafts #122

The theme this week at My Sheri Crafts, is something we sometimes have to make out of necessity... sympathy cards.  Design Team sister, Sarah had asked us to create a "sympathy" or "thinking of you" card.  I agree with Sarah when she says "I have found that I never have a sympathy card on hand when I need one" because I never do as well.  I make them as needed but this time... I have one ready which I really do hope I don't have to use

I created a stencil using Cricut cartridge: Jasmine for the "With Sympathy" so I could make the sentiment with heat embossing.  The roses are rolled up flowers from Cricut cartridge: Artiste and I inked them before rolling them up

Halloween Gift Bags

I found these small black paper gift bags at JoAnn's and thought they were the perfect size to make Halloween gift bags with...

My son was invited by his classmate to attend a "Frankenbash" party.  So, for the host, I thought it would be neat for my son to give him a treat bag.  I used a few Cricut cartridges for this project. Paper Doll Dress Up for Frankenstein, CtMH Artiste for the web, Sesame Street - Elmo & Friends Holiday for "Happy Halloween" and the small glittery spider is from Create a Critter 2

This next gift bag is far more simpler than the first because it was also a rush job.  So, I went with my favorite ghost cut from Paper Doll Dress Up and the "Boo" is from Wild Card

Baby Shower for Two

Joint Baby Showers

I received a phone call from my aunt a little over a week of a baby shower she had planned for her two daughters (my cousins).  Both are due to have their babies days apart of each other in December.  One is having a boy and the other is having a girl.

A week had passed by and she hadn't told me how she wanted the baby shower invitations to look like (and she never did say)!  So, I made the invitations a day before she had to send them out... this is what I came up with

I got the idea from looking at tons of images online.  The owls are from Cricut cartridge: Stamping and they are covered with Perfect Pearls.  The branch is from Cricut cartridge: Picturesque and the flowers are from punches.  The green leafy branch is a Spellbinder

My Sheri Crafts #121

This week at My Sheri Crafts, Design Team sister, Charlotte had asked us to create any project with a night time theme.  I immediately thought of the moon.  I originally wanted to make a card with two kitty cats staring at the moon but instead... I found a picture of this dark fairy

I thought it would be funny to use the sentiments "wish you were here" for the inside of the card.  I guess that makes the dark fairy sort of stuck all alone on the moon... hee hee
