Spring has Sprung!

The theme at My Sheri Crafts this time around is to create any project that represents "spring" to you

Well why not celebrate spring with a "spring" card using a "spring" template?  Hee heee... well that's exactly what I wanted to do so here it is...

I found the template for this "spring card" from Splitcoaststampers.  I used one of my large flowers as a center piece and decorated on top.  The scalloped ovals are Spellbinders and the sentiment is a stamp and heat embossed.  I know it's a little hard to see with the light glaring at it.  The butterfly and the flourish are from Cheery Lynn and the flowers are from Fiskars

Thanks for looking!

Easter Celebration

It's Easter time again! My Sheri Crafts current theme is to create any project that celebrates Easter

Once again... I'm determined to use up what I have around the house and I found this basket.  It was originally from Edible Arrangements that someone had given me for a birthday (I think).  Anyway, I have decided to dress it up for my 2 year old niece

The image is a Precious Moment I found online and I will edit my blog to give the link once I can find this image again.  I used Cheery Lynn for the flourish and Spellbinders for the scalloped oval.  The image is colored with Copics and the sentiment is a stamp and colored with a glitter gel pen

Thanks for looking!

Read Across America

It's time to celebrate reading over at My Sheri Crafts! Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on March 2... on Dr. Seuss's birthday!  Our theme this time is to create any project that reflects reading in any way

I made four bookmarks... four because that's how much I could make using up these particular coordinating scrap pieces of papers

They are fairly simple but with the print on the paper... it seems a bit busy.  I suppose adding all the flourish didn't help make it look "un-busy" either.  Each bookmark has a quote I liked that I found online

I used Spellbinders for these flourish and a Fiskar flower punch
