My Sheri Crafts #155

I broke my arm!  That's right, but that's not going to stop me from participating in the newest theme challenge over at My Sheri CraftsSince Mother's Day is nearby, Design Team Sister, Sandy, asked us to make "something girly." I have limited use of my right arm right now so I had to make something simple.

These are gift card covers with a matching purse to hide them in instead of an envelope.  Really, I just wanted to use up scrap papers which I now have a drawer full.  The bag cut is from Cricut cartridge: Bags, Tags, Boxes & More.  The trimmings for the first 3 purses were given to me by former Design Team Sister, Charlotte.  The last one is from Michael's Crafts.  The rest of the embellishments are from my stash and yes... I have to use those up too!

*The cards are 3.5" x 2"
*The purse are 4" x 4.5" x 1.75"

Now... it's your turn to create something spectacular and join us over at  My Sheri Crafts

Halloween Gift Bags

I found these small black paper gift bags at JoAnn's and thought they were the perfect size to make Halloween gift bags with...

My son was invited by his classmate to attend a "Frankenbash" party.  So, for the host, I thought it would be neat for my son to give him a treat bag.  I used a few Cricut cartridges for this project. Paper Doll Dress Up for Frankenstein, CtMH Artiste for the web, Sesame Street - Elmo & Friends Holiday for "Happy Halloween" and the small glittery spider is from Create a Critter 2

This next gift bag is far more simpler than the first because it was also a rush job.  So, I went with my favorite ghost cut from Paper Doll Dress Up and the "Boo" is from Wild Card

For Sylvia's bridal shower...

I had to make a few of these for my friend, Sylvia's bridal shower.  I had asked her what the wedding colors were and she said "purple and silver" so I designed these to match her colors.  Inside each purse, holds three Hershey's Kisses.  A silver (milk chocoloate), a purple (dark chocolate), and one wrapped in silver and brown swirl (white / milk chocolate swirl)

Easter Pastels

This week's theme over at My Sheri Crafts, is to use Spring's pastels and make a craft project with it.

Since it was my first project back as a Design Team member... I wanted to add my signature love to using feather boas.  YES!  After a LONG break, I'm finally back with My Sheri Craft's Design Team!  I'm so excited to be working with a new group of talented people.

I had intended to make this project initially for Easter for my three kids.  The bags were left over party bags from my girls' birthday party back in 2007... I had exactly three left!  Why I held on to them... who knows... why do we hold on to all the stuff we have in our stash?  So we'll have them in case we need them!

The green bag is the original size just folded over at the top, I had cut the two purple ones to add the feather boa and the handles
