Justrite Friday Challenge #89

This week's JustRite Friday Challenge is allowing just about anything as long as your project still has a JustRite stamp... ooops I forgot that we are also supposed to use our favorite stamp set and explain why it's our favorite.  Unfortunately, I don't own too many JustRite stamp sets to pick a favorite... at least, not yet

I decided to use one of the sketches from the weekly Card Sketch Challenge along with the Ad colors to make this simple card

The stamp is from "Whimsical Christmas" set by JustRite and the frame is from Spellbinders.  This is the first time I made rolled up flowers.  They are from Cricut cartridge: Art Philosophy .  I inked them before rolling them up then dabbed them with glitter glue. The stamp is heat embossed

Thanks for looking!

Card size - 4.25" x 5.5"

Supplies used:
Papers - DCWV
JustRite - stamp
Sizzix - leafy branch
Spellbinder - frame and circle
Cricut cartridge: Art Philosophy - flowers

Also made for sketch 1 of RAQ's 1-30 Card Sketch Challenge

Card Sketch Challenge: 1-23 (sketch 2)

It's really sad when I have to make sympathy cards... but what can you do?

I used the frame from Cricut Sentimentals cartridge and the sentiment was "drawn" by a QuicKutz Silhouette Pen then I colored it in with a brown fine marker

Staying true to my New Year's Resolution of making a Christmas card at least once a week... here is another

I didn't have a poinsettia die cut or Cricut cut I wanted to use so I sort of hijacked Spellbinder's image of their poinsettia and used SCAL to cut it for me

Card Sketch Challenge: 1-16 (sketch 2)

I made this card a few weeks ago and I had forgotten to put this on my blog.  My daughter, Zenica, had won first place in a Martin Luther King art competition for her school and her work along with others' were to be displayed in the local museum

My older daughter, Kiara, suggested I made a card with Martin Luther King to present it to her sister after the award ceremony

I got the image of Martin Luther King from online and printed it out on photo paper and the inside is computer generated

Card size: 4.25" x 5.5"

Supplies:
Adobe Photoshop

My Sheri Crafts #103

Show some LOVE to the ones you LOVE

You got it!  Based on the title for this week's theme at My Sheri Crafts ... you can tell what we're celebrating!

I decided to make a card for this theme.  It's been a long time since I made an easel card so I made a triangular one to add dimension to the elements on top

It has become a tradition now among my kids that I make at least one Valentine's card every year with a little hand on it displaying the "I love you" symbol

Cricut elements include, the hand from a Printing 101 cartridge and the hearts from Wedding cartridge.  The flourishes are Spellbinders and so are the frame below.  The tiny roses are actually made of metal and they were given to me by a friend a long time ago.  The sentiments are handwritten with gel pens
