Sketch 1

I wanted to use up some old beads I had in my stash so I decided to sew some directly on the paper.  Each bead was sewn individually using the ladder stitch technique.

I wanted to make this sketch into a diamond shape because I thought it looked better with the card suit theme

Hogswart Student Layout

Halloween 2011

This is Zenica as a Hogswart student from the Harry Potter series.  Her grandmother, "Mam-Apot," made her costume from an old graduation gown.  She also sewed the necktie and painted gold lines on them

Sketch 1

I used Crackle Accent on this particular project for the first time.  My good friend, Donna (*NanaDonna*) had sent me a bottle because I'm on a craft-spending ban.  LOL!  She's so sweet!

• Card size - 5.25" x 5.25

• Fiskars - border punch
• Sizzix - leafy branches
• Cricut cartridge: Home Decor - "Hope" colored with Copics
• Crackle Accents on the mini squares then inked it to highlight the cracks
• Alcohol inks on the satin flowers

I found this image and I knew I just wanted to use it for something... not necessarily for an Easter card either but most likely will end up as one.  Hee hee

• Spellbinder - scalloped circle

I made these to stick inside my daughters' lunchboxes.  They were going to have a mini party to celebrate the Leap Year in school

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

This week's theme over at My Sheri Crafts is all about making St. Patrick's Day cards but to make it into an easel card.  It also has to have at least one shamrock.  Is my shamrock big enough?  LOL!

• Sentiment is a stamp colored with glitter gel pen

• *I used Stickles to outline the shamrocks
