It's time for some red, white, and blue over at
My Sheri Crafts. That's right! This week's theme is all about some patriotic fun! Make a project using red, white, and blue showing off some patriotism
For my project, I made a star-shaped wreath. Ok, it's not a wreath... we'll call it a door hanging welcome sign of some sort. All the cuts are from the Don Juan Cricut cartridge and each of the blue and silver letters were heat embossed individually (yeah... time consuming and MESSY!). The star is a metal frame I got from Michael's wrapped in some red tinsel with silver stars... alright, they're not really silver stars... they have 6 points! I think the red tinsel garland is actually some left over Christmas item because the silver stars look more like weird looking snowflakes but shhhhh... no one can tell right?
Now let's see what you come up with! Come join us at
